Cricut Cardz Challenge- Halloween Z - Fold

This week the Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a Halloween Z or S fold card using any cartridge or color. I recently bought this adorable spider paper from K and Company.  I cut the spider web from Happy Hauntings out of cream glitter paper and mounted it   to a black circle cut from Create a Critter.  This cute spider is from Doodlecharms.

The inside of my card has another web and circle and the Boo is cut from Happy Hauntings.  Head on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to play along with this fun challenge.

New Arrival Onesie Card

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to make a card for a new baby using the colors green, yellow orange and white ONLY.  I decided to make a shaped card.  I used my Gypsy to weld two onesies from the "B is for Boy" Cricut Lite cartridge together.  I cut another onesie fron the MS green and white polka dot paper.  The little duck is from Doodlecharms and the little scallopped circles are from Lacy Labels.  You can barely read the stamp in this picture but it reads "New Arrival".  I added a litle crystal for the duckie's eye.

Design Team #2 over at Cricut Cardz challenge has some awesome cards this week....head on over here to check them out.

I am also entering this in the ....wee Memories challenge...Scallops, Orange and String and My Pink Stamper's challenge...use a bird on your project.

Happy Fall Banner

I hope everyone is having a great week.  I've been playing around with banners the last couple of weeks.  I made two "Happy Birthday" ones last week and today I made this "Happy Fall" one.  I love the way it turned out.  I used a scalloped circle from Lacy Labels for the base cut at 5".   The font I used is from "Country Life".  I really like this font, it cuts out so well and is not too thin.  The pumpkin is from Create a Critter....I used the hide contours feature to remove the face. I have had this paper for a while now and I just love this color combination.  I used sage green tulle to tie the panels together. I think it turned out really  pretty.

Momo's Tuesday Challenge - Just Because

The challenge this week over at Made By Momo is to make a "Just Because" card.  I used my Straight from the Nest cartridge to cute this pretty butterfly.  The background paper is from K and Company.  I added some stickles to the butterfly for a little sparkle.  Sorry my photo is not that great....I took this after it was dark outside and did not have very good light.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #42

I hope everyone is having a nice week.  This is my second week on the design team over at Cricut Cardz Challenge and I had a much easier time with my card this week.

The challenge this week is to make a Halloween card using the card feature from any cartridge using any colors you'd like.

I used the card base and frame from Stretch your Imagination and I cut this scary pumpkin guy from Happy Hauntings.  I wasn't sure about this cartridge when I received it....but I'm really starting to like it.  I found this cute stamp at Michael's yesterday in the dollar bin...so cute!  This was a super fun card to make.  Click here to head on over to CCC to play along with us.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #41

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to  make a card for Fall using any cartridges you'd like and any colors EXCEPT, NO brown, orange or yellow.

I used this cute designed paper from K and Company and my new Country Life cartridge.  I cut the apples at 2.5" and the "Harvest" at 1" and cut the shadow layer for each.  I added some green twine and a little metal charm that reads "Happy".

This was a simple card but I love the way it turned out. This is the first week for team #2 of the Cricut Cardz Design Team.....all of their cards are awesome.....click here to head on over.

Made by Momo - Tuesday Challenge

Momo's Tuesday Challenge this week is to make a project that is black and white plus one other color.  I finally used my French Manor cartidge for this super simple card.  I cut the "Merci" from Create a Critter and ran my white glitter background paper thru the Cuttlebug with the Textile Texture folder.

Cuttlebug Challenges - Pink

I hope everyone is having a nice Labor Day weekend.  We had our first Pop Warner football game this weekend....it was lot of fun.  My eight year old twins are both participating...I have a cheerleader and a football player.  They both did a great job.

I also got some new cartridges on Friday....I got Straight from the Nest....yay!  I've been waiting on this cartridge for months...I paid for it a while back on pre - order and it finally got here.  I fell in love with this butterfly as soon as I saw it.

I made this "joy fold" card for the Cuttlebug Challenges be Inspired #99.  The challenge was to make a mostly pink card in honor of My Pink Stamper who is sponsoring this week's challenge.  The pattern papers on my card are from K and Company.  I love the way this turned out....so pretty!

...wee Memories - In the Forest

The Scrappy Saturday Challenge at ....wee Memories this week is In the Forest.  I thought this paper worked perfectly for the challenge.  I cut the little fawn from Create a Critter at 3" and the scalloped borders are from Just Because.  The sentiment is a stamp I got from Michael's dollar bin a while ago.  I added some Prima flowers and pearls to the border and some stickles to the little deer's collar. This card was pretty quick and simple to make but I think it turned out cute.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #40

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to make a card using scalloped circle, ovals, squares or rectangles.  You may use any cartridges or theme you'd like.  I used my Gypsy to weld two scalloped rectangles from the Cricut Lite Cart. Sugar and Spice for my card base. The clouds and grass  are from Zooballoo and the hills are from Give a Hoot.  The butterfly and flowers are from Create a Critter and the flower stems are from Walk in my Garden.  Wow!  That may be a record for me... 5 cartridges for one card.   I added another butterfly to the inside to dress it up a little.  Click here to hop over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to play along with this week's challenge.
